If you have played a Martin or Taylor, this blows them away. The sound is amazing!! I tested quite a few mid range (priced) guitars including Taylor and Martin, there is no evaluation. Play a cord, or even 1 thread, the sound seems to go on forever. I love Breedlove, I purchased the C25/SR as well, both are well made and sound splendid. I am a satiated time middle school choir director, part time church music minister, who loves to be inflicted including a guitar by my side all the time. I play in semi - professional venues and I know what a skilled guitar is supposed to sound and feel be fond of. I austerely cannot afford to spend the money de rigueur when it comes to buying an American made guitar including the sustain, fit, and finish you will find in a skilled Martin, Taylor, or Gibson acoustic guitar. My frustration has been that I know a Chinese or Korean made Takamine, Fender or Ibanez acoustic guitar austerely cannot give me the sound and satisfaction of an American guitar that has been and will be out of my price array for the foreseeable future. My reality was that I would be inflicted including to wait until the miraculous day when I would be inflicted including a couple of thousand extra dollars laying almost to be capable to buy the guitar that I truly sought after. Then the remarkable happened. My wife and I were in a music pile and I saw this Breedlove Atlas Studio D25/SM. It is made in Korea but assembled including American materials and given it's final set ups and inspection by it's home company of Breedlove guitars in Oregon. I picked it up and gave it a try. I was factually floored by the rich, ringing sound. The sound is ridiculous. The sustain held for a solid 15 plus seconds. The basses are rich and melodic, far disparate any Asian assembled guitar I be inflicted including ever played. Now hear me when I say that I be inflicted including read the reviews of loads of Asian guitars by folks who truly want their instruments to sound be fond of the American guitars that they cannot afford. They truly think that they are playing a guitar that can compete including American guitars. I know virtually all of those reviews are exaggerated or flush untrue, flush if they believe them to be so. I be inflicted including washed-out a significant amount of time playing Martins and Taylors flush though they belonged to friends of mine. I be inflicted including flush played some of Breedlove's American made instruments. This is the ONLY Asian made guitar that I can honestly say sounds as skilled, if not better, than it's American counterparts. I know that you be inflicted including to spend almost $2,000 to get this kind of sound. It's construction, hassle work, and sound is truly amazing. It has a solid in trade and top including HPL sides. I look good you that you will not be dissapointed in this guitar. You will NOT be capable to replicate this sound for almost $1000 be fond of Breedlove has been capable to do including this guitar. There is hope for us poor folks in the Breedlove Atlas Studio D25/SM.
