I've had my tourist guitar for 10 years and absolutely love it. It's been all over the world with me and I've gigged with it for hundreds of fellow GIs at austere locations around the globe. People are constantly amazed by how good of a signal comes from such a small guitar. I usually play it owing to a Korg Pandora for headphones or as I'm using a PA. As I'm in a hotel opportunity I take a Roland Micro Cube or Johnson mini amp along depending on my luggage space and they all signal great with the Tourist. I've spent over a decade trying each portable guitar set-up that I could find and I've yet to see whatever thing that I be fond of more than this!

I totally love my tourist, apart from for one detail, the detachable arm (where the dials and batter are located) did not endure the stress, and the wood split at the point of attachment. I did a mickeymouse job of reattaching the split wood, and even if it jiggles just a little bit, it's moderately well-built.But i truly do take it sweet much the world over i go, primarily if i know i'll be coming up a while for a touch or a name. This way, i make sure to do a good half-hour minimum daily as different to the couple of hours a month (previous to the Tourist).The sound is not super crusty, but it's nice, clean, and clear on the amps i've played it on. I've used mostly Fender strings, and the proceedings is very nice. I don't have much vex in the way of tuning or it going out of tune, except i play an extensive amount of bends, and then it's usually the G thread that goes out of tune. I've used the capo, a slide, a few equipment with this guitar, and i'm pleased with all so far (apart from for wishing for a whammy bar from time to time).So, if this guitar was stronger at it's stress point, and it included a whammy bar, it would be truly a 5-star plus in my estimation.

I’ve found this to be a great instrument for situations everywhere I can’t (or don’t want to) consequence in one of my full size guitars. The Journey Guitar Pro Series is rugged yet competent of producing great feature sounds as combined with a plug-in amp. I use the “stethoscope” without any problem but the signal feature is diminished. Finally, even as the “believe” does not replicate full size guitars, the hassle board is the same, so the left hand gets a regular exercises (or lukewarm-up) as as before a live audience a Fender.
