This is a very only one of its kind guitar. I ignored it in the shop for a long time until I read more about Luna and searched their catalogue for a Maple fret board. I love Maple fret boards and the Zen seems to be the only one in the range and so I took a additional look at it. The words was not an instant hit with me but many of the equipment I love in life, I came to love over time. I now love it to bits. But I'm a bloke and a guitar is for before a live audience and not for looking at and so, I don't get too precious about knocks and scratches but then, I've never had such a great one as this. There is a lot of pleasure to be had just ... looking at it.But guitars ARE for before a live audience and this one rings out like a bell all the way up the neck with a warm, positively deep tone with a real punch. Not anything else in the shop or everyplace else I've looked recently came close counting the other Lunas even if the Trinity Dreadnought was sweet good. I planning the words on the neck would detract from before a live audience but that twisted out to be jabber. I don't know I was subconsciously using the tiny dots inlaid into the fret board strip but I had no conundrum finding locations on the neck.Shame about the very negative assess made here but the gent was definitely not looking at the same Luna Prediction Zen that I tried. I hope he lets his students make up their own minds about Luna. All the inlays are wood and very expertly done (even if I did spot a tiny bit of filler in one of them). There was no alignment conundrum with the neck even if it did have an incy wincy bit of underbow, quite run of the mill and easily fixed once it has matured down. Proceedings needs to come down a bit for me but very playable in the shop. I tried a few open tunings which it held well (a touch my 30 year old Eko has vex with). The built-in tuner made it so easy to thrash tunings.I spent two hours with this guitar in the shop but didn't buy it even though I actually wanted it and had very near enough cash in my sack (it was priced a bit more than I wanted to pay but then, isn't that true af anything worth having?). Three scratches under the gloss on the fiddle with board strip and four burred frets (not filed and blended after rough cold) which I actually did catch my thumb nail on while pretending I could slap and tap like Vicki Genfan! These equipment made me walk away but I will be maintenance my eye open for a additional one. The poor shop owner is now faced with spending money on the guitar in order to sell it to me or waiting for someone who doesn't mind burred frets. We both inspected all the other Lunas for the same flaw and didn't find it again. All the others had perfectly blended frets all the way along the neck. Such a huge shame since it had such a great tone, was a joy to play and, I'm sure, had a lot to teach me.

The other guy was right-These new generation Luna guitars are AMAZING. The cosmetic part of it is just flawless, I get compliments on it from every self who sees it. The tone/sound feature rivals a number of my high-end guitars. All and all, im far further than satisfied.

I have seen very mixed reviews of Luna guitars so i bought one of these prediction zen guitars to test it out. when i first played it in the music store where i bought it i was automatically drawn to it. some broadcast say that Lunas are poorly constructed. that is since some of their first generation guitars weren't that good. However i selected up the new and stuck-up Luna prediction zen and it feels like i'm before a live audience an expensive guitar. i was shocked to hear how good the guitar sounded for the price they were asking. the guitar is solid and it is intensely constructed. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS GUITAR. it is great sounding and it looks great. Thank you Luna Guitars!P.S Make sure you buy the most contemporary generation of lunas!! they have a different manufacturer than earlier models. And also look up Vicki Genfan. Shes great!
