I won't lie to you, I'm a Seagull guy. I went in looking for a splendid guitar at a splendid price, and even as I was open to veer away from my popular Seagull-made guitars if the aptly deal were to be void, I simply couldn't do it. I tried out a bunch of different guitars in my price array, and the Seagull Following Rural CW QI(T) won, hands down. First of all, the tuning apparatus are in the end the levelheaded chrome Ping tuning apparatus heads disguised with Seagull logos. I love this since I am very hard to please about my tuning apparatus and often swap out my guitars' apparatus heads for said Ping parts. Next, the nut width of the neck is narrower than the standard Seagull nut width, which makes it more akin to a Martin or Taylor or a in tears of that scenery. This makes the transition for a non-Seagull acoustic player a modest smoother. Third, the proceedings is comfortable, but not too comfortable. If the proceedings is too low and too easy to push down, signal is compromised, this is not so here. I reconcile this is the softest proceedings a guitar can have without compelling away from the signal or causing good-natured or things of that scenery. The Godin electronics are signal, and sleekly calculated. As in the "Rural" name, even the electronics stay true to this look, and the style and functionality are both top of the line. This is one of the few (if not only) Seagull in this price array with a cutaway, and that is valuable since it allows for more flexibility and mobility on the neck for persons who like to utilize every void fret on the guitar. The by and large look is nice. At first, I thought the sunburst was a modest too much, but with a couple hours of staring at it, I have grown to love it. Finally the most valuable business about this guitar is the signal. The guitar possesses a very full, animated, diverse signal. Here is a affront play in the timbre, but it is not overbearing, leaving for a warm and exact acoustic signal for very nearly any style or application. I do not reconcile a better guitar can be bought for this price, but I must top out the halfhearted. As with my old Seagull, the wood feels very soft, so with some ruckus before a live audience and misguided strumming, the wood can wear away and damage the surface more easily than other guitars. This is a tiny price to pay for an if not very commanding acoustic-thrilling wrap. Besides, I like when my guitars get that worn-in look, so this is not at all a halfhearted for me in person. I would recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a guitar as in such a short time; it has grown so dear to my sensitivity.

I went into Guitar Center looking to buy an Acoustic/Electric in the $400-500 range. Sticking to my list made up of other's reviews, I tried a Breedlove(which I liked)a Takamine(which was rather big for me)a Fender (nice looking, but I didn't like the signal)a Martin (not bad, but in this price range the signal wasn't impressive), an Ovation (which, of course, slid rancid my lap!)and finally this Seagull. This is a very nice guitar for the money--it is very easy to play and although I will most likely try other strings, the signal was just "music to my ears". I have to say that I also liked the Breedlove, but I was more impressed with the Seagull's Godin connection. The tuner was more of an reflection for me but now I consider it an added "perk". Nice looking, easy to play and nice sounds make for a great buy in this price range. Take a look, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I bought this guitar at my local music store, Mojo's Music which is a bad ass shop in Edwardsville IL, and I couldn't be happier. Sounds great and is very playable. My friends dad who owns everything from a Santa Cruz to Martin was also pretty impressed especially with the fee tag being what it is. Seagull did great career with this guitar. Don't forget to support your local music shop!!

I am amazed at how wonderful this guitar is. Wonderful and resonating sound, well-built, looks splendid, and it's so practically priced. If you are looking for a guitar that lives up to a 1k-2k martin/taylor, this is it, and much cheaper! The Canadians have done it over again! Its signal really blew dead other models. I re-test extra pricey one such as Taylor , Martin at 1000$ range and to my ears, they do not signal as good as this Seagull. Needless to say, I luckily bought this one, the saleman just smiled and understood "I knew you would pocket including the intention of one, anyone tiresome it bought it if they have fiscal proclamation for it".Recently, in approximately of the gigs, I had chance to play Taylor guitars (3 of them, in the 1500 to 2000$ range). I soothe have to say, I love my Seagull better. It sounds lukewarm, loud and including a few being, its signal keep improving as the top is made including levelheaded cedar wood.The believe of the neck in my hand is just splendid and smooth. I recently lower the saddle action a little bit so before a live audience at high frets be converted into easier for my fingers.The entire construction is levelheaded. It holds refrain for loads of weeks.The good part is I got a good deal from GC, release 400$ + tax.

Go to Seagulls website and you'll see they are promotion for quite a bit more. I have done much research regarding guitars and Seagull and Seagull is a very high feature company that makes great guitars. I don't know how they can sell these (or their other types) at such great prices.This guitar just blows my mind on the feature and sound. Its made of solid wood all almost ($$ is incredible for this!). Ceder top and Wild cherry sides and bottom!! The neck is made of solid silver leaf maple! Incredible! The whole thing is just so well made and I can't stop touching it, LOL, so smooth with great glaze sunburst look. The makers/partners are Godin!! Which is a very good company that makes incredible guitars. Ok I will admit that so far I have not been able to hear the sound. Being Deaf I need an amp which was supposed to arrive at the same time but :(. So I have to wait for a couple of days but family tree says it sounds wonderful. I'll try to give an bring up to date soon. One main gripe I do have is that of the pre-amp which is a Godin made electronic. I reflect this is my flaw as I can't seem to make it out but the tuner is madcap. Ether its to insightful or I'm just not appreciative how it works which is very doable as I have never used an built-in tuner before and there is very little in rank (Blue-collar?? No blue-collar comes with this?)regarding this.But I believe its not trying to swap this one out for something else if the electronics are bad (One note is that many suggest to exchange the array with a new one which I'll try).Oh one other issue/ that I have. What is with the packaging Seagull? You ship such a great and wonderful guitar in substandard packaging? A cardboard box in a box and the guitar itself is wrapped in a flimsy plastic sheet?Be grateful god it arrived undamaged but come on Seagull. I must also note that this only comes with the guitar. Nothing else. So you have to buy the amp cord, strap, picks, etc. yourself which is totally fine considering what you get for this price. I will state this again, THIS IS A FANTASTIC GUITAR! "They" (whomever "they" are LOL) deliberate this to be a decrease end priced ("Trainer") guitar (and it is decrease priced considering you could spend $$$$$$ on guitars) but to me this is probably the best guitar you can get at these prices. This I would mediate as being a decrease-mid range to Mid range (NOT a trainer) made guitar (at least value far more) Comparable to maybe a $600 to $800 guitar (But I'm no adept :), but I challenge you to go out there and try to find a solid wood guitar at this price and feature). The feature itself is so very high and you can forget about finding another fully solid feature wood guitar at this price.This is just such a huge steal. Grab it if you can! Since I base many of my purchases of reviews I decided I need to also participate to the process.I have had this guitar for two months, and I am extremely happy. For the price this guitar is a steal. I compared this guitar with the Taylor 710 and Martin DXME, and many other brands/models. In my opinion the Seagull is a better sounding and quality guitar - even if the Taylor 710 was sweet good. After playing 40 or so guitars at the store, the Seagull was the best acoustic guitar under $1000. The first guitar that began to sound better than the Entourage was the Martin D-16GT - at this price point you will start to find better sounding guitars than the Entourage. To me this shows the craftsmanship, quality and care that are put into the Seagulls.The Entourage without the pickup or cutway the stage just as good for around $300 which is something to consider. The Entourage also stays in tune for a very long time. I have heard in some other forums people gripping about the Seagull not staying in tune but I suspect they are not properly humidifying their guitar causing the wood to constantly expand and contract. Please make sure to humidify your guitar it will save you money and keep your guitar sounding good for many years to come.For those of you that are curious, the Seagull S6 Original is made from the exact same wood as the Entourage series. This can be verified by going to Seagulls website. The interesting thing is the Original sounds greatly different than the Entourage. The only spec. difference is the nut width which must be the reason for the sound difference. And yes I am aware that no two guitars even of the same model and company sound alike. After playing numerous different Entourages and Originals they still have an by and large difference in sound. I found the Entourage emphasized more of the mid and high range chords whereas the Original didn't. The Original sounded great but I think it might be better suited for folk music and/or finger picking. I really love this guitar and I would recommend it to anyone. I bought the TKL 8515 guitar case for the Entourage and it fits sweet well. The Gator dreadnought case does not fit this guitar, even with Gator's website stating that it does. I would always recommend playing a guitar first before buying it. What sounds good to my ear might not automatically be appealing to you. However, some people don't have that luxury. With that said, I am fairly confident that you won't be disappointed with this guitar. Hope that helps.
