I saw a name playing a resonator guitar and planning it had a fun and uncommon look. Getting the cheapest one here at Amazon (and, rumor has it that, it's is made in China), my expectations were low.I was so bowled over with the tone feature. It really sounds good--and I hadn't realized it is in fact an acoustic-ELECTRIC, which give it a truly amazing value. My fixed AE guitar has a nice, mellow tone and I liked how it sounded even best when I changed to D'Addario strings. I might try uncommon strings here, too, but..then again...why? It really does sound good as is.Not the "same" as my other AE, a bit more naturally enlarged in "acoustic" mode and equally as nice (still abstractedly more "metallic") with an amp.All in all, a conversation piece that really sounds good and isn't at all harder to play--acoustic or gripping--and a GREAT price. - Elisa 20 I got this guitar on a whim since I have been looking for a resonator for ...
