This instrument is not only very well made (tidy luthiery) it is warm, loud and effective and the stage very evenly from bottom to top. The neck is great - generous frets and an old-fashioned chunky neck - and the intonation is very good. You don't get this sort of tone without girth - this thing is very deep bodied - so it's not the most comfortable guitar in the world. I'm happy to trade a bit of comfort for so much signal and warm sustain.
