Just my opinion here. It sounded okay, but being a slim-line guitar, it just wasn't as full to me, which I must have expected, I guess. A bigger issue was that the pick-up registered one string MUCH hotter than the others. Spent a long time tuning my amp to get the sound I wanted, just couldn't get there. Would have been helpful if the guitar had a built-in equalizer. Which raises another issue: This is a "lush" Tim Armstrong develop, but it has less options than the Hellcat. If you like this guitar, just get the Hellcat. It has the equalizer and tuner. This one does not. The case was AMAZING, even if. Loved how perfectly it fit the guitar.
