I had this being ago and had to sell as I at sea my job. While I reserved 3 guitars, this is the one I missed the most. Including the Strat narrow section, it allows me to mess about thrilling lacking plugging in. The price was splendid on this as I've searched local stores and Ebay. It feels skilled to be inflicted including this back in the fold. It's also simplified including a built in tuner; BONUS! The seller was actually instant including regular delivery. All in all, a splendid guitar, splendid seller, splendid transaction. Skilled material.

I have the Amerian Ordinary Stratocaster Electric - The guitar that changed the planet. I love my Stratocaster so much I wanted a similar acoustic guitar so I could do anywhere without needing an amplifier. The Stratocoustic was the perfect resolution for me. I did immediately change strings to a lighter gage and will soon have the string height off the fretboard set to match my Stratocaster electric as accurate as doable. Dredge up, I wanted an acoustic that played as closely as doable to my electric. The Stratocoustic is great looking and nicely trimmed and finished with top grade tuners and Fender engineering. Materials are all durable and designed to make this guitar sound great. It's not real loud on the acoustic side, but that's okay, if you want it loud it has a top-grade Fishman electric pickup so you can plug it in to an amp with a ordinary guitar cord and play it loud and on stage if you want. I'm extremely happy with this guitar, I find nothing wrong with it and everything right. It is exactly what I wanted. Thanks Fender! Good Job! PS, I almost forgot, could it get any better, YES, just look at that price - That's real regard for a great instrument like this.In view of the fact that Reorganization this review I have had a chance to hook up the Stratocoustic guitar to a nice Mesa tube amp and all I can say is wow, it's a wonderful electric guitar also. Rich tones and Stratocaster-like neck and feel make this a lovely surprise. I just wanted a do guitar, but this guitar has be converted into a top choice for me. It will never exchange my Stratocaster, but it will be a guitar I will keep accurate by as a very playable and enjoyable instrument.

Is the Stratacoustic a skilled acoustic? Hardly. What it is... a great do guitar. I be inflicted including 20+ guitars... all of my acoustics sound better than this; all of my electrics sound better than this. So far, I mess about this guitar extra than any other. Why? Because it is the perfect guitar to be inflicted including then to you to grab when you get on to a shot of inspiration or only noodling almost. It is small, comfortable to mess about even as meeting in an easy supervise over, loud sufficient to take think it over of lacking swelling, keep for calm down sufficient not to disturb others, and a neck including the intention of feels only be fond of a strat neck. And if you can get on to over the notion including the intention of it must sound be fond of your full-sized acoustic, it really has a practically pleasant sound... nice resonance, apparent tone, and even as the bass is thin, still travelable.A allocation of people yield it high marks for its plugged in sound. Give is lone of the before models including the Fishman Classic 4 logic, and I'm not a addict. To me it sounds delicate and harsh. Though I've been tempted because it plays so nice, it is not the guitar I aid for live normal because my other acoustics sound so much better plugged in.Underneath outline, it is a great guitar for what it is. I wouldn't bombard out full fee for a extra lone, keep for you can pick them up used for under $150, which I think is value it.

Be with you what it is...and you won't be disappointed! This is not a great acoustic guitar, how could it be with a 3" thick tiny fake body? What it is, is a great practice Strat you can pick up anytime and if accurately set-up by a tech (light strings and low proceedings - truss rod from factory is ugly) it plays sweet much like an gripping and you can HEAR it lacking the need to plug in your 'genteel' Strat! So mine lives by the sofa and when the mood grabs me, I can practice away while sucking down a beer; lacking exasperating the neighbors and plugging in.It's a STRAT neck on a body you can hear... It'll 'do' if you want a cheapo guitar to bust out a few singalong chords at a drunken party and that's just fine too... but don't go comparing it to a Taylor or a Martin, it was never projected to compete...shall I say it again? It's a STRAT neck on a body you can hear (positively justly) lacking the need to enlarge on! It's a PRACTICE STRAT neck on a BODY YOU CAN HEAR!!!Armed with that point of view, this guitar makes exact sense and does its job well... it was never meant to be a credible acoustic guitar.PS - when you DO plug it in, it in fact sounds great!

I bought this guitar at Guitar Center. I always like the styling of fender stratocaster, but I am not an electric guitar player. So I found out this guitar was available for $150, I didn't think twice about buying it. Is it as good "real" accoustic guitar? NO. Its body limits that that loud accoustic sound. But when you get an accoustic amp with it (mine is behringer acx450), man you won't be able to tell the difference with other guitars out there! So far I'm loving it!

STAY AWAY!!! Just austere junk. 1) sounds like a container can, zip bass aim. 2) no pick of the litter care for and cant discover lone somewhere...or explanation either sooooo pick of the litter scratches close all to heck. 3) back feature is made of plastic!!! 4) close cracked almost the bridge awaited to the thread tension. 5) tether rod needs relentless adjustment 6) a piece of the fortifying is baggy including 3 months and it makes a horrendous buzzing sound. Synopsis: Despondent-expense guitar including the intention of sounds like crap and begins to fall apart as you take it early the quantity. don't buy it!

I have a lot to say about this Fender Stratacoustic, both good and bad, so if you are from the bottom of your heart compelling into account export one, delight read this full shape up. Out of the box, I was to some extent shocked. The by and large advent was not very good. I routinely see best finishes even on cheap guitars. The body is one-piece black fake or resin, with a textured close. It's not great, but it's functional. The top is plywood painted gloss black. There is white strip almost the top. Out of the box, the strip looked bad. There was glue all over it, and in seats the strip was rough like it had been gone over with a file, and in one place, there was some black spray paint on the white strip. Next, the neck had a very pronounced bow in it, but I was able to tidy it out with a truss rod adjustment. It looked-for a lot of tapering, which was troublesome, but it twisted out OK. [If you are not experienced person with that, have a pro do it for you.] One thing that actually irked me was that one confront of the faceplate of the built-in Fishman preamp/tuner was cracked. Whoever installed it, screwed it too tight and snapped it. It still works fine, but this is improper, primarily for a name-brand guitar. The close of the wood almost the sound hole was rough, too. So, for cosmetic advent, I give this guitar a C-/D+. Their final QC inspection is a joke. Luckily, before a live audience this guitar is a whole lot best than the close. Here's the rest of the story. As I said, the body is not impressive, but the neck, (once by the book adjusted), is sweet good, even if the ends of the frets are a little rough and could use some filing down (Don't do that physically any, except you know what you are doing). The neck feels very strat-like. The guitar came with two bridges, one high and one low, (who knows why). I replaced the high join with the low join and ended up with a very playable proceedings, close to an gripping. You may even be inspired to put on light guage strings. The inflection is spot on for acoustic wound strings. Acoustically, the sound is poor, so don't buy this guitar if you want a great sounding acoustic guitar. I only play this guitar acoustically for practice. Where it shines is before a live audience it owing to an amp. Fishman makes good electronics for acoustic guitars. This one sounds great. The built-in tuner is true ample. One other issue I had right off the bat, while out involved for a gig, was that I had to chat the battery which is accessed owing to a little trap door right next to the productivity jack. I opened the door in the family tree way the battery to fall out, but the battery was stuck in there. As a topic of fact, it was so stuck that I had to pry it out with a tool. The conundrum is that there are two little wound springs which make supporter with the 9V battery, but they get spellbound on the battery terminals and do not basically let go. This is a poor point, and one which I cannot live with, so I had to adjust the full battery screened-off area, and bed in a ordinary 9V snap-on connector with a long lead wire. It's not elegant, but it works. The battery comes out basically now, but unreliable it is a two handed surgical course of action. The tuning heads themselves turn hard and are not charming, but they do hold a tune. The guitar has a nice thin body and the strat-like shape and feel, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. It is very comfortable, whether you are before a live audience permanent or meeting. In spite of the poor first depression and the other flaws, I do like the guitar a lot, but for the $250 I paid, and since it's a Fender, the feature of this instrument must have been a much best.

I bought this guitar because at the initiation off it looked really cool (duh!) But also I sought after a guitar including the intention of played a little quieter than a normal acoustic. I lived in an apartment building and played at nighttime and didn't aspire to wake up my wife, or national for including the intention of matter. It is a really splendid guitar and I love the way it the stage. It sounds categorically amazing through an amp because of including the intention of splendid preamp it comes biased including. Also I love the built in tuner. Makes tuning a breeze. This guitar is set alight and straightforward to transport to where on earth I call for to play. I will say including the intention of I took the form a junction including out and sanded 1/16th of an creep off of it to lower the action. The action was okay to commence including, but now it is amazing and the stage like a guitar including the intention of costs twice as greatly. If you are looking for a guitar including the intention of has a cool peek and the stage like a marvel, then this is the guitar for you. I have gotten other guitars since this one, but this is my pet, the one I permanently discover for myself success for.

This is not Lorna, it's her son. I don't know everywhere the before reviewer got this guitar, but mine looks incredible! Not one conundrum with it. The only "downside" to this guitar is that if you want to play it acoustically, then it is relatively quieter than other acoustics. This is a good business with me, even if, because I like to sing while I play, and I have a calm down accent. It sounds amazing, primarily in an amp, and the by and large advent is splendid! The built-in tuner is nice, too. By and large, get this guitar!
