This guitar is awe-inspiring, I am rating the guitar itself and not a vendor or the shopping encounter. The signal coming out of this thing is amazing even as you don't plug it in, the action is great, not to mention that it's beautiful to peek at as well. The Maple back and sides along with the solid dapper top start fantastic signal projection, treble, bass and mids just signal incredible. I would def recommend this guitar. As I bought it I was looking to spend no more than $400 bucks on a guitar, though I just had to pick it up and try it (no I didn't buy it online) and almost $900 shortly I was before a live audience this thing at home- could say it was an impulse buy but no regrets at all! Love it!

I purchased the Takamine EG523CDX-HB from Amazon for $580 which is over 50% below the list price and is the buck anywhere for this develop. The guitar was expected in excellent condition and upon tuning it the guitar was all I was shopping for and more. It is a strikingly wonderful guitar with treasure tuning apparatus, abalone and treasure neck hatch, and a wonderful honeyburst finish. It has a solid dapper top and a fantastic even-toned sound which projects very well. The electronics are about the best one could ask for in a mid-level guitar. I have played Taylors that cost three era as much as this Takamine and were not close in sound quality or proceedings. If you are looking for an excellent value for a mid-priced guitar you will not beat this deal.
