I was running late for my return flight in trade home and when I returned the rent car to the Newark airport, I was in such a hurry I left my silent guitar in the in trade window of the car. I realized that I'd forgotten it a few minutes later but had already boarded the train for the terminal. I immediately went in trade to the car rental building but the customer service at the rental counter was so terrible that, although I notified one of their employees of my plight, by the time they resolute to get around to "helping" me the car and guitar were in transit to a further location. Dejected, I continued my flight home. Over the next two weeks, the car rental company was of no assistance... Although they notified me they'd found my guitar, neither the Newark branch lost and found nor the branch manager would return my desperate calls. My wife suggested that I accept the fate of the first Yamaha Silent Guitar and just order a new one.I use this guitar as my travel guitar. I can sit in an airport or lodge and practice without disturbing my neighbors. Because I study classical guitar, I find that missing a day of practice makes a big difference. When I travelled including a small steel string guitar, it would take me a couple of days to get in trade into form including the wider classical neck of my usual instruments. The Yamaha Silent Classical Guitar is a lot of fun to put into rock and roll mode, too. Although I don't usually use the electronics, they have functioned flawlessly on in cooperation guitars.Oh, the car rental place finally returned my first Yamaha Silent Classical Guitar, so now I have two. I keep one at the office to practice on. If I believe like performing, I can just promote my computer speakers into the headphone jack and I'm bustin' off some Fernando Sor for the office.I would not hesitate to recommend this guitar to anyone... In fact I have recommended it to other classical guitar students.
